Chief Keef’s stepbrother, Ulysses “Chris” Gissendanner III, took a fatal bullet to the back of the head

Chief Keef’s stepbrother, Ulysses “Chris” Gissendanner III, took a fatal bullet to the back of the head in far south side Chicago, this adds another to the many other Chicago shooting epidemics. Ulysses was a 19 year old aspiring rapper who went by the name of ”YPN Boomtown”. Gissendanner’s stepfather, Chief Keef’s biological father, Alfonso Cozart doesn’t believe their family connection has anything to do with Gissendanner’s slaying.

Cozart told DNAinfo.com Chicago that his stepson’s slaying does make him worry about his son, Chief Keef, who he no longer talks to.

“As a caring father, who wouldn’t worry about that?” Cozart asked. “I do want my son to have success and have a long, positive life, and I hope the best for him.”

@SnoopLion helping Jamaica's poor with food project

Rap legend Snoop Lion, formerly self-christened Snoop Dogg, has launched a new foundation to help poor families in Jamaica grow their own food.
The "Drop It Like It's Hot" hit maker was shocked by the levels of poverty faced by locals, especially youngsters, while recording his first reggae album, "Reincarnated" in the country.
He has now set up the Minds Garden Project, which will provide residents with tools and resources so they can grow their own fruit and vegetables.
The star says, "When I went to Jamaica we took time to visit these communities in Kingston, and I was deeply affected by the poverty and lack of good food available to the children. "No child should go hungry. After all the inspiration Jamaica had provided me, I felt compelled to create a program to give back to the community."
Snoop is also planning to bring his initiative to the United States, adding, "This is just the start; we have some big plans to roll out Mind Gardens Stateside in the year to come. We can all do our part to help people eat healthier and live better."

B.o.B. releases his new mixtape Fuck Em We Ball. Includes features from T.I., Juicy J, Mac Miller & more.

Gunplay Responds To Saigon, Dares Him To “Try To Punch” Rick Ross

During an interview with Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club earlier this week, Saigon was asked who he would like to punch, and named Ross and 2 Chainz, as two of the people he'd like to go after for the explicit content of their music, which he believes is being marketed to children. In an exclusive interview with Hip-Hop Wired, Gunplay not only challenged Saigon to put hands on Ross but questioned his motive. “I got a son too, Ross got a daughter, Ross got a son. I dare you to do that sh-t.” he says. “To each his own, if that's how he feel… try to punch him in the face.” More than anything, Gunplay wonders how threatening violence will solve the problem. “You saying this [but] you're tryna punch somebody in the face? I'm sayin', what's wrong with dog? I don't know what's up with that sh-t.” Read more at hiphopwired

Robert De Niro Confronts Jay-Z At A Party {LOL YouGotThtWrk!

Apparently, De Niro had been trying to reach Jay-Z about recording a song for the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year but Jay had been dodging his calls so he wasn’t too happy. According to sources at the event: “Bob was sitting at a table, and when Jay-Z went over to say hello, De Niro told Jay that he never called him back. Bob wasn’t in any mood to make polite conversation,” the spy says. “He told Jay that if somebody calls you six times, you call them back. It doesn’t matter who you are, that is just rude.” “De Niro kept telling him that he thinks he’s the man, but that he was disrespectful. Beyoncé came over, but that didn’t calm Bob down. It was the talk of the party. Everyone was saying there’s only one star in New York bigger and badder than Jay-Z, and that’s Robert De Niro. He can be quite scary when he’s angry...

Number of Americans who support legal marijuana reaches new high

The number of Americans who support the legalization of marijuana has reached a record high of 50 percent, according to Gallup's latest annual crime survey. Fifty percent of U.S. adults surveyed Oct. 6-9 expressed support for legalization and 46 percent opposed it—the first time the percentage of supporters surpassed that of the opposed since Gallup began surveying the issue in 1969, when it saw 12 percent support. Voters in Washington and Colorado approved the legalization of recreational marijuana on Nov. 6. As expected, the youngest adults surveyed, liberals, Democrats and independents were all more likely to favor legalization than their counterparts. The margin of error was plus or minus 4 percentage points for all samples.By Rachel Rose Hartman, Yahoo! News
